I met Mr Stevens in 2006 at Moorfields Eye Hospital London and recently again at his consulting rooms in St Ann’s Street, London. At the age of 54 in 2006 my eyesight became poor to the state that I could not see to drive safely. The problems were not simple but diagnosed and corrected by Mr Stevens. In 2023 I had an issue with one eye which was described by my local optician as way beyond his pay grade. Again, Mr Stevens expertly diagnosed and rectified, a surgeon at the top of his field. My eyesight in 2024 is better than 20/20 thanks to the expertise of Mr Stevens and the support of his excellent staff. From my own experience and in discussions with others Mr Stevens is a surgeon whose experience and skill we can count on in simple or complex eye surgical matters.

I had LASIK treatment by Julian Stevens over 20 years ago and would not trust anyone else to do my recent Cataract Lens Replacement surgery. His expertise and equipment used is second to none. He leads a very professional, knowledgeable, kind and reassuring team which is a testament to his own work ethic - you know you are in very safe hands. From the first consultation to post surgery consultation you are constantly reassured by Mr Steven’s calm positive nature. I am thrilled with my results and highly recommend this wonderful surgeon and his team.

I was very myopic since student days and I had worn contacts for 40 years. Mr Stevens diagnosed cataract in both eyes which explained recent worsening of both distance and reading eyesight. He recommended lens replacement surgery which he performed a week later. The procedure is of course frightening in the anticipation but painless and fast in practice. I went home within half an hour of having a new lens in both eyes and woke up next day with fantastic vision in both - it is life changing not to have to faff about with contacts / glasses and to have a clarity and quality of vision which I have never had before. Truly incredible and I never believed I would trust someone to do this but Mr Stevens is the best of the best and I recommend him unreservedly.

One of the most talented ophthalmic surgeons of his generation, Julian Stevens came highly recommended by the military for LASEK. There is no surgeon better placed or who I’d trust more with such an important procedure. Thanks to Julian I will now be able to do my career free from having to wear glasses. Thank you!
