I underwent a bilateral lense exchange this year, which was worrying as the outcome can be unpredictable, and made even more stressful by Covid 19. I had complete confidence in Mr Julian Stevens, having been his patient 9 years ago for the initial lens implants. He is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon, who I knew would give me the best outcome possible, which he did. My sight is so much better and my ongoing follow ups are arranged and carried out efficiently, professionally and to suit my individual needs.
Mr Stevens Is professional, approachable, honest, courteous and has a sense of humour. He explains things well, and gives the time needed without appearing rushed. He clearly wanted the best outcome possible for me and discussed all options and expectations.
The whole team in Moorfields outpatient department are polite and efficient. And I felt looked after by Mr Stevens and his secretary Janet, during my procedures in the hospital.
