Jay Khastgir is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Swansea with a passion for high quality patient care and good communication. He has a specialist interest in female and male incontinence, neuropathic bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain and male lower urinary tract symptoms. He received specialist training in the South West of England, with further subspecialist training at various centres of excellence such as Bristol, Paris, Stockholm, Liege, Maastricht, and Mansoura. Prior to that he was a research fellow at the Spinal Injuries Unit at Stanmore, London. He has authored numerous publications in medical journals and has written several book chapters. He is on the editorial board for several urological journals. He is held in high regard for his teaching and talks at medical meetings, and is on the faculty of the European School of Urology. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Swansea University Medical School.
