Due to late change of Doctor for my total right hip change on 9th Aug'23.
Mr White was friendly, professional and put me at ease over the operation.
having trouble working and driving due to hip, I was amazed how quick after the operation I was able to walk with crutches and NO PAIN.
was able to walk with one crutch at 3 weeks post op and unaided at four weeks post op, doing all exercises does help.
I would thoroughly recommend Mr White for knee, hip operations which are his field.
I would also thoroughly recommend Fitzwilliam hospital, staff friendly and professional.
If I ever need a hip or knee doing I would try and have Mr White.

Had lots of doubts for a while but Dr White put me at ease over my hip operation,. I found him to be very kind and professional. I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing a new hip or knee replacement. A charming man and very pleased to know him. ( I would like to adopt him)

Mr White carried out my total hip replacement 6 weeks ago. Before the procedure he explained in clear detail what it entailed so I was fully prepared. I found Mr White both professional and informative as well as friendly and approachable. My surgery went well and Mr White and the whole team at Hinchingbrooke were excellent. Before the replacement I was unable to function due to constant pain and mobility issues. I am now pain free, walking without aids and driving. My quality of life has gone from pretty awful to really good. Hopefully I don't need further surgery for a while but, if it becomes necessary, Mr White would be my preferred choice of surgeon.
I cannot give any suggestions on improvement at this time as my experience was without fault.

Six weeks and 1 day after my total hip replacement I attended my appointment with Mr White. He was amazing and because he had done such a great job I returned to work the next day. Thank you

It has been 9 weeks since Johnathan White operated on my hip and I can say that this man has given me my life back. Before my operation I found it difficult to perform ordinary domestic duties and looking after my wife as her career.
But now I am almost back to where I was some years ago, and am looking forward to long and active life. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Johnathan White and his team for the first class treatment I received at Hinchingbrooke Hospital .
I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team ,who were thoroughly professional and diligent, in the care and treatment they gave me .

I am a consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee surgery. My NHS practice is based at Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital, both part of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
I perform a large number of hip and knee replacement operations each year. I have a subspecialist interest in revision hip surgery and the treatment of the young patient with an arthritic hip. I also offer certain arthroscopic knee procedures and partial knee replacements where appropriate.
