Mr. Waite has been a specialist Knee Surgeon at Warwick Hospital since June 2007. He completed orthopaedic training at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford giving him exposure to all aspects of Orthopaedics & Trauma.
In 2004 he undertook fellowship training at Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre in Western Australia, and in 2005 at Melbourne Orthopaedic Group as a specialist in Lower Limb Arthroplasty and Sports Injury Surgery.
Mr. Waite specialises in treating sports injuries of the knee using the latest arthroscopic techniques, as well as young adults with arthritic and patellofemoral conditions. He performs joint preserving surgery, including osteotomy and cartilage repair techniques. He has a particular interest in Robotic-assisted Total & Partial Knee Replacement surgery (including Patellofemoral replacement).
Research interests include biomechanics of joint replacements and the use of knee replacements in trauma.
