after having my second child I felt that my breasts had changed so much and I became very conscious of this and decided to go for augmentation. I was lucky enough to see Dr Adamthwaite, a genuinely lovely, reassuring and professional man whose amazing work has not only given me gorgeous new breasts but he has given me my confidence back. I am so grateful that he was my surgeon, he was with me every step of the way and the aftercare with him I just can't fault. i would highly recommend Dr Adamthwaite to anyone considering surgery, even if you have to wait for an appointment, he's absolutely brilliant and you will not be disappointed.

He was the surgeon who performed breat augmentation operation for me this year. I felt so relaxed and confident in my decision after seeing him the first time. I was referred to Mr Adamthwaite for removal of a pre-cancerous lesion from my scalp. At the initial consultation, he explained clearly what would be involved and was very re-assuring. The operation was carried out under local anaesthetic by Mr Adamthwaite and his very competent team. It was completed within an hour and there was very little pain involved. I was able to remove the dressing after two days and, whilst care was needed not to knock the wound, I was able to shower and live as normal. The stitches were removed after two weeks at a follow-up consultation. I am extremely pleased with the neatness of the work – already the scar is hardly visible and it will fade more over time. I was very impressed with Mr Adamthwaite’s professionalism throughout. He is clearly a very competent surgeon and, importantly, he also has excellent patient/client communication skills.

I am 6wks post surgery (Chester Nuffield Hospital) under Mr Jonathan Adamthwaite. I wanted to do a review to share my very positive experience with him; from my first consult to all my follow up appointments it has been nothing but a good experience. I have felt comfortable & relaxed during the whole procedure which I think has a lot to do with faith in my surgeon & the care/ attention to detail he took. To feel that your surgeon is conciencous & sees you as an individual, taking time to ensure they get the perfect result for you is priceless. This is my second stab at breast augmentation surgery & having the right surgeon really makes all the difference. The look, shape & feel of my new implants is so much better than first time around. I also had my C section scar completely revised at the same time. My scar was nothing short of a mess with an overhang of excess skin over the top! Mr Adamthwaite did the most amazing job with my stomach - very happy indeed. I still have swelling after my surgery however the results are already clear to see & are impressive. I also expected a lot more pain than I experienced; it was more like mild discomfort than pain. So am I happy with my choice or surgery, surgeon & hospital - absolutely yes! Would I recommend Jonathan Adamthwaite - I already have & will continue to do so (hence this review!). All the Nursing staff who cared for me spoke very highly of him & said he always takes his time & does a great job - what more can you ask for! For anyone considering surgery like this I would recommend it as feeling comfortable & confident in your own skin is so important.
