In August 2023 I dislocated my shoulder and underwent surgery in Nov 2023 at Nuffield Brighton for a large rotator cuff tear. Before the accident I was very active - boxing 3 times a week, CrossFit, running - after the accident I couldn’t raise my arm even to 90 degrees. I thought I’d never return to boxing. I was very anxious about the surgery. Throughout the entire process, from my initial consultation to the surgery and post-operative care, Mr Phadnis and the team at Nuffield demonstrated excellence. At each appointment, I brought various questions, all of which were answered honestly, managing my expectations effectively, and with clear, detailed explanations. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Mr. Phadnis.

I suffered for several months with frozen shoulder but once I visited Mr. Phadnis, I received an injection treatment with two weeks and have seen a markable improvement on the condition ever since.

I received fantastic care by both the hospital and the doctor, the whole process was managed professionally and with me having the general feeling my care was important and in good hands. Operation went well and the i have returned to full fitness and am very happy with the result and guidance i was given. Its my second operation at this hospital and both times it has been exceptional.

I found Mr Joideep Phadnis provided a very person centre approach both prior to my surgery and post surgery. He even took the time to come and tell me how the surgery had gone post surgery which was a breath of fresh air in this day and age of pressured doctors time. That was really appreciated. I also found Mr Joideep Phadnis approach very reassuring and for those that might have some trepidation prior to surgery would go a long way to reassuring them. At review he sought my views of how I was recovering and any ongoing issues that I might still have. Overall 10 out of 10 from my point of view
