Don't usually do these but this man and his team have literally saved my life, and for this, I am eternally grateful. Hands down, one of the nicest Drs. I have met. Nice to talk to; confident (enough so to put one's mind at ease but not at all cocky), helpful, caring, great sense of humour. I could go on but you'd never believe how nice he is. The ONLY disappointing thing about him is his ambition to have a successful career (how dare he), as he's imminently leaving us for greater pastures new. Gutted. He has successfully performed a sleeve gastrectomy on me and despite having major surgery, within weeks, it was like I had never been operated on. Scars are doing great, stomachs doing great, and when I called his secretary about some concerns re post-op pain and suitable painkillers, I was pleasantly surprised to not only get a prompt call back from one of his team but, it was Mr. Loy himself. He didn't think I was stupid for asking nor did he make me feel as though I was wasting his time. Awesome guy. Just sad I'll never get to meet him again. Anyway, if you're lucky enough to get this guy as your surgeon, fear not, you don't know how lucky you are. I really wish him all the best for his future and sincerely thank him for giving me one to be hopeful for.
