I was a day patient at Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon for cataract surgery. Mr Beare was helpful, friendly and took the trouble to explain everything to me. I was very confident that I was receiving the best treatment possible, and am very happy with the result. I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing the same treatment.

I was discovered to have cataracts in each eye by my optician. My GP recommended Mr. Beare and I am so glad that he did. I found Mr. Beare to be very patient and understanding with my anxieties. He took time to explain in the finest detail what this surgery would entail and to draw the pictures to accompany this information. I trusted him implicitly and knew he would be a gentle surgeon. The cataracts in both eyes were removed on the appropriate dates, and there were no problems at all. The atmosphere in the theatre was very relaxed and stress free, which was a huge relief. I visited Mr. Beare 3 days after each operation and all was found to be healthy and well. The post op care was explained to me carefully and I was able to leave feeling very happy. Mr. Beare stressed that I should get in touch with him should I have any future worries. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with an eye problem.

Having been seen in outpatients at the same hospital for over a year by other doctors, Mr. Beare diagnosed my problem and dealt with it quickly and efficiently.
Mr. Beare has a friendly, yet professional manner and explained his findings openly with me.
On the day of surgery he spent time explaining exactly what the procedure would involve, why it was necessary and what I would experience. Follow-up was good and my whole problem was sorted out within two months of being seen in outptients.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Beare.
