Best surgeon ever!!!! Became my doctor when I was still technically a child (aged 15) and on a child's ward but they knew my condition was likely to require several surgeries over several years so I was put with him early, but he always made me feel at ease and explained things so I felt less anxious and scared. Even introduced himself as "John the bum doctor" - which "15 year old me" was very tickled by. Still the best surgeon ever 20 years later
