Mr Joel Humphrey is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in the foot and ankle. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Orthopaedic Sciences from University College London, he completed his medical qualification at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine. Mr Humphrey continued to work in London and his Specialist Registrar Trauma and Orthopaedic training was at Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ Hospitals. Prior to his appointment as a consultant Mr Humphrey undertook two prestigious fellowships. Initially the Foot and Ankle Reconstruction fellowship in Cambridge at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, broadening and refining his foot and ankle surgical skills. Then the Trauma fellowship in Oxford at the John Radcliffe Hospital, gaining expertise on the latest surgical techniques in managing complex foot and ankle trauma. Mr Humphrey has been an Orthopaedic Consultant on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council since 2017 and holds a consultant appointment at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Trust.
