Mr Joby George Malal

Mr Malal was very helpful and understood the issue with my right hand and fingers. Being a very nervous person, I soon settled down once I met Mr Malal, he made me feel at ease and the prospect of an operation would have normally caused me to panic but he explained the situation and this helped enormously. The operation went with out a problem and Mr Malal arranged a further consultation to sign me off which again went very smoothly. I did tell Mr Malal if I know anyone with the same problem I would 100% recommend him. Thank You The only issue I had was at The Manor hospital and the mix up in my appointment time which started out as 7.30am then a phone call to change the time to 10am I arrived in time and was told I was early and my appointment was 11am. But this was not really a major problem and the staff at the Hospital were brilliant especailly the 2 Ladies in the Theater who kept my Calm through out. Thank You

From my initial consultation right through to my last post op appointment, I was felt at ease and fully informed by Mr Malal. I had every confidence in Mr Malal to undertake my surgery, nothing seemed to be a problem and he always encouraged and gave sound advice to me at my post op appts. Had every confidence in Mr Malal as he did my first carpal tunnel surgery March 2021 and second February 2022. He always listened and gave good advice. Always on time with appointments and had time to discuss any issues with you. I would have no problem recommending him.

Dr Malal was very efficient in dealing with my case, a broken thumb. He made sure all the necessary checks were made before delivering his professional assessment.

I saw Mr Malal in October at The Saxon Clinic Milton Keynes. I had already been diagnosed with Osteo Arthritis in my hands. He listened to me then ordered X rays , he then explained in detail the findings. There were 3 options but the Trapeziectomy was really the only long term solution. This was arranged for the following week. He came to see me the morning of the operation and we went over the procedure. I found him very caring, he always listened to me and explained things carefully. I would recommend him as a surgeon, he specialises in wrists and hands.
