Mr Osman-Farah made me feel safe and in good hands all the way from the initial consultation pre operation and post operative care as did the staff at the Walton centre but especially Mr Osman-Farah who continued visiting daily all the time that I was in hospital. I have found that it has been a very positive experience and the ongoing care is excellent if you have to contact his secretary Mr Farah always responds within a very short time which again makes you feel that you are not on your own.

TO ALL AT THE WALTON CENTRE I recently underwent a Focused Ultrasound procedure at the Walton Centre on 4th January for an essential tremor on my right hand. I want to put on record how amazing the attention and care has been from all the staff concerning my procedure from the moment I was first contacted personally by Mr Farrah to walking out the hospital after the procedure had taken place. Without exception, every single person I came into contact with, from the people in the cafeteria to the receptionists, nurses, radiology team and other staff who work in one capacity or another at The Walton Centre, all were helpful, understanding, friendly, and at all times had a marvellous sense of humour, which made the whole process so much easier for me. That said, I particularly want to thank Louise Cross, Mr Farrah's secretary for all her assistance in organising various appointments, taking into account my travelling from Leeds and future holidays I had booked, always responding to phone calls or emails by return. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. I would also like to say a personal, thank you, to Charna the staff nurse who was always on hand calmly telling me who was doing what and when. The registrar Anka was excellent, as was the pharmacist who went through all my medication, along with Ray my anaesthetist who was extremely thorough and friendly while explaining what would be happening when I was taken into theatre. How could I forget Jenny, the Sister who gave me a free haircut! Mr Farrah and his team were at hand with every step of the journey, constantly reassuring me along with checking and cross checking everything. On returning the following morning to have further checks, Sarah in the assessment team and Dr Macerolloto continued to enhance my marvellous experience with your staff. Mr Farrah and his team gave me the opportunity to have this life changing procedure which I will always be grateful for along with their excellent, empathetic patient care and consideration. I must also apologise to the numerous staff I haven't mentioned by name. During the last 12 years I have have had 10 operations in NHS and private hospitals, but I have never ever received in all that time the level of professional attention that I was given at the Walton Centre by all your staff, they truly were amazing. Thank you to them all for massively improving my quality of life by improving my tremor in my dominant right hand by 80%-90%. If anyone that is struggling with a tremor I can only encourage them to speak to Dr Farah and his team. Henry Stone
