I can’t recommend Mr Lim enough he has been fantastic. On the day of surgery Mr lim come to my room to go through any questions I had about the procedure and the put any nerves I had to rest. Mr Lim instantly made me feel comfortable and less nervous because he is so approachable. The operation went well and the recovery was fairly straight forward considering Mr lim told me that having my tonsils out as a adult is not a very nice experience and quite painful, I never really suffered from any post operative pain or felt the need to use painkillers at all, I put this down to the fantastic job Mr lim done in surgery. I’m now 4 weeks post Op fully recovered and I can’t thank Mr lim enough he has really changed my life.

I would highly recommend Mr Lim as a consultant. From start to finish I was treated very well and felt very well looked after. Everything was explained clearly to me and I was given lots of opportunities to ask questions. Mr Lim is a helpful and friendly Consultant who had a good rapport with my 4 year old. He listened to our concerns and provided options for treatment and management. His surgery has been very successful and the hospital (Gatwick Park) called us after the surgery to make sure that his recovery was on track. We have also had a follow up with Mr Lim a few weeks after the procedure. I couldn’t fault Mr Lim or his team and my son has suffered no complications after his surgery.

My interaction and experience with Mr. Lim has been great from the get-go, I felt he took the time to discuss the options available under my circumstances, offered through advice to make an informed decision and explained everything in a clear and understandable manner.

Mr Lim is able to provide expert management for most ENT conditions to patients at a various private hospitals in North Kent. He delivers easily accessible services to patients in Dartford, Sevenoaks, Maidstone, West Malling, and Rochester, by virtue of the number of locations at which we operate.
Mr Lim has been a consultant ENT surgeon since 2008, dividing his time between his work in the private sector with his NHS work based at Medway Maritime Hospital.
He qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School. He trained in general surgery and then ear, nose and throat surgery. He completed his specialist ENT training, covering all aspects of ENT, in the south west Thames region and undertook sub-specialist training in both paediatric ENT surgery, and rhinology and facial plastic surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, St George’s Hospital in London and also in Zurich, Switzerland.
He was awarded a fellowship by the University of London for his work in the field of ear surgery. Subsequently this work lead to him being awarded the Doctorate of Medicine by the same institution.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England having successfully completed three separate examinations in General Surgery, ENT surgery, and Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery. He has been on the GMC’s Specialist Register for Otolaryngology since 2008.
He is enthusiastic about providing high quality ENT care and is continually working towards improving and expanding the provision of ENT services in the region. He places great emphasis on maintaining his record of excellent communication with patients and medical colleagues. He was appointed as Lead Clinician for the ENT department at Medway from 2011-2017, and as Clinical Director for surgery from 2016-2018.
