In January 2015 I was taken into University hospital of North Durham with acute abdominal pain. I remained there for 3 weeks after having major surgery. Mr Cundall was the surgeon who carried out my operation and under whose care I remained. Without sounding overly dramatic or going into the intricacies of my surgery, this gentleman quite literally saved my life. Throughout my time in the hospital Mr Cundall explained things to me clearly and plainly. Incorporating a modicum of humour which always made things seem slightly better. Thank you Mr Cundall for your expertise and professionalism which, without, I have no doubts I wouldn't be here today.
