Mr Deguara was coolly professional, informative, straightforward, not tempted to sugarcoat the issues - I felt very reassured. He carefully explained the stages, potential benefits and risks of my laporoscopic surgery. The surgery seems to have been a complete success as I was able to leave ICU after just 12 days (this after a serious bike accident). Everything went as well as I could have hoped. The operation took place at Kingston Hospital and the post-operation care from ICU was equally exemplary.

Jean Deguara is an excellent surgeon, based in both Kingston hospital and the NewVic hospital. Mr Deguara dealt with my pancreatitis operation without delay and explained the procedure properly beforehand. I am recovering well.
