I am delighted to have this opportunity. Somethings go beyond word, and certailny beyons 5 stas. Dr. G's approach to those in his care is one of those. I am not in the least surprised to hear of the award of the compassion, kindness and care from Chesterfield. It was obvious that he sees beyond 'patient' to the person. He is fully engaged. Connectio, communication and comassion could be felt immediately, and humour! These promote relaxation and confidence, confidence to ask questions, however small they may seem. He is generous with his time and his response. I hope he will be there should i ned to visit again. He exemplfies the best in his precious profession. THANK YOU

Dr George installed confidence before the operation, he explained how it could be complicated but he never made me feel like I needed to worry. He took his time explaining before and after the operation and was never too technical for me to understand. I went to theatre feeling like I was in good hands. When I was first back on the ward he took the trouble to come and explain how my particular operation had gone. I don’t see how Dr George could improve on the professional care I was given , I was lucky to have him.

I have never met a kinder doctor, I felt anxious going into my appointment at the breast clinic and he made me feel instantly at ease. He is incredibly respectful, always asks if it's okay for him to do something before he does it, which I greatly appreciated, and he is a warm, friendly individual. I had been worried about my appointment for a while but I needn't have worried at all. Dr George is the pinnacle of professionalism and should be seen as an example to others on his patient care. I have just received my write up of the appointment in the post and even this made me feel as though I had received the best possible care.

G took over my surgery following an perforated Appendix. The aftercare I received from G was excellent. He was friendly, yet professional. I felt like I'd known him a while. He offered advise which was taken on board. He visited daily to see how I was progressing, even when I was discharged from hospital received a phone call at home to see how I was improving.
