I was first seen by Mr Eyre back in September 2018 at Methley Park Hospital , West Yorkshire for Tarsal Tunnel Syndromes in both feet , I cannot emphasise enough how professional , caring and understanding he was to the condition and its symptoms. His knowledge of the issue was second to none and further reassured me that a successful outcome could be achieved after embarking upon a number of steps . This process involved advice on physiotherapy , footwear , podiatry inserts , steroid injections and such like but my symptoms were such that surgical intervention was necessary The treatment I received from the staff at Methley Park was absolutely outstanding - from staff in pre-operative care / advice who kicked the surgical processes into gear , through the nursing staff , fantastic operating theatre personnel and recovery people , they were 100% committed towards providing 1st Class care and should be applauded for their efforts I for one would whole-heartedly and very highly , recommend Mr Eyre and all the various teams based at Methley Park Hospital who displayed quality care for myself throughout the entire clinical journey A credit to the ethos of quality patient experience - outstanding effort !

I was diagnosed with Morton's neuroma 2017. My GP referred me to a podiatrist and the advise was to elevate my foot and use frozen pea's. This did not work and I would also suggest this was a waste of NHS funding as the only permanent solution for this is surgery. Mr Eyre explained a layman's terms all about the neuroma and the procedure. In fact he guided me through each step. I was amazed at how well I felt after the 2 week rest period and I am walking pain free for the first time since being diagnosed. My only regret is that I should have been referred for surgery in the very first instant.

I am a professional dancer, teacher and mother so embarking on an operation involving my left foot was not the easiest decision. I was fortunate to receive an appointment with Jason Eyre who immediately gave me a positive welcome and response to an ongoing problem since I was born. He assessed me and because my case was uncommon was very sensible immediately seeking other doctors and surgeons opinion on going ahead with the operation. This lead us to attend a small convention in Huddersfield last year. My foot was carefully examined by over 10 practitioners and specialists who all agreed an operation to remove the bursa which had grown very big over the bone which protruded downwards making walking and dancing very uncomfortable. Post convention confirmed operation was needed however Dr Eyre allowed me to think about the event then it was decided we booked in the operation for following year. A small issue with first operation being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances with Nuffield hospital however I was treated very well and has excellent communication from here on in. The operation went very well seeing Dr Eyre pre operation to assess me and explain to the finest detail what would be taking place. Then when I recovered from the anaesthetic he visited me again for post op chat again giving detail of what took place. Discharged from hospital I began my recovery 1 week complete rest keeping foot elevated and not exerting myself. From here I used crutches for a few weeks until I could limp slowly. I recently had my 6 weeks appointment Dr Eyre was very impressed by my recovery, the scar has healed beautifully, the swelling is very minimal and I am aware when I do too much this will increase again so after exercise I use Rest, Ice , Compression & Elevation. I could not have asked for a more proactive, approachable and highly skilled doctor and would recommend anyone who is suffering with a similar condition should seek advice and not be put off by surgery. I am about to go on professional tour with my dance company which demonstrates amazing things are possible.

From initial consultation, surgery and post operation recovery My Eyre presented a relaxing demeanour and disarming humour to relay total confidence in the process I was to go through. Mr Eyre put me totally at ease, explaining to me the nature of my condition and the surgery and recovery required to present a solution to my discomfort. This was all provided in a clear and concise manner, giving me plenty of opportunity to ask questions and obtain any clarity I needed to assist my understanding of the proposed procedure. The procedure itself was done on time and the results were fabulous - I could feel the benefit within weeks, and made me question why had I left it so long to seek professional guidance. The surgery itself was without pain, other than the use of initial medication for post operative recovery. The aftercare was excellent, again giving me opportunity to obtain information in terms of the procedure undertaken and aftercare treatment. I would totally recommend Mr Eyre to anyone seeking a solution to ankle related injuries.
