I had scoliosis surgery 12 years ago, when I was aged 11. Now that I’m an adult, it’s only really hit me just how incredible Dr Bernard and his team were at the time. Since recovering from the surgery, I have had no health issues and have been able to live a ‘normal’ life as though I’m not different to anyone with a ‘normal’ spine. I always remember feeling very much at ease with Dr Bernard, which is so important for a child of that age. Everything was completely transparent and I was thoroughly supported post-surgery too. I honestly can’t begin to thank Dr Bernard and his team enough for allowing me to have my life back. I feel ever so lucky to be able to go through life without worry, and it’s all thanks to his passion and skill set. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

I had a lumbar spinal fusion as a result of a completely worn out disc. I am now almost 6 months in recovery and I feel absolutely fantastic. I have no pain and my life has returned to normal. Jason is clearly an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him.

Mr Bernard is an Amazing surgeon. He operated on my 14yr old daughter who had severe scoliosis and unlike other surgeons he was so thoughtful as to how her back would look after surgery. He is totally honest and I woundnt hesitate in reccomending him to anyone.

I have just undergone a Cervical anterior discectomy, I have been in extreme pain for the past 3 months, not able to sleep or sit comfortably, I have been taken numerous pain killers but to no avail, thank god For Mr Bernard, what a wonderful extremely professional and thoughtful surgeon who I owe so much to as I have now had the first of hopefully many to come painless nights & days.

As I mentioned previously, I appreciated Mr Bernard's frank style in analysing the situation and then setting out what needed doing, the risks and the chances for success, both in the short term and long term recovery. No fudging, simple and straightforward that made decision making understandable and easy. Two and a bit weeks after the operation I'm exactly where I expected to be. In eight weeks time I will have an electric review of the nerve. So far, so good.
