Mr Jark Bosma is a patient, highly skilled surgeon and I have never felt safer than in his hands. I suffered decades of pain and disabilty until I was finally referred to this caring and patient professional. He recently gave me my life back after twenty five years of pain and disability and I cannot praise his skill and patience highly enough. If you are a patient in need of surgery and are finally referred to to Mr Bosma you have hit the jackpot of sympathetic ansd skillfull treatment.

My name is ANTHONY HARVARD BAILEY, For over 8yrs I suffered agonising pain 24/7 all over my body, I began losing control of , my right hand and arm, also stumbling over and losing feeling in all of my fingers. This escalated in 1990 and my GP sent me to SOUTHAMPTON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Neurology dept...A Professor IANOTTI examined my case and sent me for a full body MRI in POOLE....The RADIOLOGIST said I'D developed a very rare disease affecting the MYOLIAN SHEATH, and SPINAL COLUMN, which was difficult to diagnose with many symptoms which confuse RHEUMATOGISTS. For THREE YEARS, I Had 2 Discotomy and 1 Spinal joint fusion by Mr IANOTTI...BUT, he died an MR JARK BOSMA took over my diagnosis and treatment....AFTER a full body NEUROSCAN & COMPUTER ANALYSIS, Mr BOSMA very frankly told me "Your whole neurology is permanently being damaged by disease, probably triggered by your recent Whiplash in your motorcycle accident in 1996? We then discussed my present options, and in 2003 as one of his "reserch patients" I was offered "life saving" - "life changing" Major Cervical Replacement & Implantation.....After admission to WESSEX NEUROSURGERY CENTRE, he discussed in detail the whole procedure and was very frank and compassionate....He admitted it would take 10-11hours and because it was 'life threatening' I MUST consider the full implications that I had 50/50 chance of Total Success, or, possible paralysis, BUT, in 153 cases before there was much 'life changing possibilities' as his other patients were 'very happy' now ! Professor BOSMA was 'such an inspiration' and 'his bedside manner' and honesty were - FANTASTIC ! I had ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE, since 'every detail and possible problem' was explained wonderfully.....I have had 15 years of freedom, walking, talking, swimming, holidaying and enjoying life again. I am now developing some other spinal problems as I'm now 73yrs old ? BUT 100% THANK YOU Dr JARK BOSMA....I recommend him completely, and absolutely.....He IS " a game changer for spinal disease sufferers " and those like me who had a RARE de-generative problem.

Having had serious, life altering back problems since I was a child and having been previously told that nothing could be done for me surgically, I came under the care of Mr Bosma who gave several pain relieving injections prior to undertaking two separate surgeries on my lower spine. I'm now about two years post surgery and I've recently completed a "Walk 1000 miles in a year" challenge in just over six months. From not being able to get out of bed to go to the toilet, of having to be supported on both sides to take tiny steps to walking miles on a daily basis is nothing short of miraculous in my eyes. I still have back pain but the leg pain that crippled me has virtually gone and my quality of life has improved exponentially. When I was unable to continue with treatment because my partner was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Mr Bosma kept me on his books and I was able to take up treatment again after my partner had died. I was treated with dignity and humour and, most importantly, listened to. I have some other spinal problems and may yet need to make a return visit but I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Bosma and his team.
