Mr Hollingshead removed a tumour from my colon, March 2022 Successful op, very neat scar. Good recovery. It was advised I had 3 treatments of chemotherapy as a back up , my Oncologist Dr .N Bhuva was equally great, gave me reassurance and confidence. After my first chemo , my reaction was dreadful, felt ver, very ill, admitted to Watford Hospital, in a dire state, don’t remember much, kidneys packed up, sepsis , pneumonia and, I think other complications. . My son told to expect the worst. Mr Hollingshead stepped in and saved my life. No other words for it. After many weeks in Watford, some rehab, in St Peter’s ward Hemel Hempstead, I needed to learn to walk and I did with their encouragement and help. It’s now August 2023 , I’m back doing my garden, driving, regained weight, enjoying life. Still under the professional eye of both Mr Hollingshead and Doctor Bhuva. Thank you is not enough, I am so overwhelmed with gratitude .

Mr Hollingshead was my surgeon following a bowel cancer and polyposis diagnosis. He communicated with me clearly and compassionately and checked in on me each day that I was on the ward after surgery - something I really appreciated. He seemed like a man who genuinely took pride in his work and I felt it was a real blessing him to be in his care. My recovery has been excellent, no doubt due to his diligence. I'm forever grateful.
