Met Mr James Hewes for the first time today to discuss test results and options. I was pleasantly surprised that Mr Hewes himself greeted me at waiting area and within minutes of the appointment time.
After introductions and discussions about my illness history and current condition the test results, options, and all associated risks and benefits of these options were discussed.
I had read up on my condition and likely options prior to the meeting, Mr Hewes kindly took the time to explain in detail all questions I had and explain the complications and variables of the test results which I found reassuring.
Throughout the consultation I felt comfortable, at ease, unhurried, and extremely well cared for.
Mr Hewes gave me total support to be able to make a confident unrushed decision, which for me is to opt for an operation.
