Mr Gibbs performed an arthroscopy on my knee. The difference is tremendous and my treatment has been problem free. I couldn't believe that I could walk out of the hospital without crutches, etc. and although it takes time, it's not painful at all. Thank you

Due to a sports injury I had a total knee replacement in January. James Gibbs and all the team at the Montefiore were fantastic from start to finish. Everyone listed to my needs and requirements, and guided me though the whole process faultlessly. Three weeks on and i am walking without crutches, up and down stairs, and able to do squats. I would recommend James without any reservation, he is accomplished, professional and caring. Please bear in mind that the surgeon can only do so much. The pain for weeks after the op is very great, and your outcome will be totally dependant on how much work you put in to your fitness level before your op, and into your physio afterwards.

Mr Gibbs treated my wife for a hip replacement in Nov 21 so I knew I was in safe hands when I found I required a knee replacement. From the first consultation, the operation itself and further follow up his experience and professionalism was 5 star. It’s now 4 weeks since my operation and my recovery has been far better and quicker than I ever imagined.I can not thank him and his team enough for their dedication and care.

It was such a positive experience meeting Mr. Gibbs. He immediately and very sympathetically recognised the pain I was in which I had not previously experienced during months of extreme pain. From his caring communication I felt relief and hope that he could help me. He confirmed that I did need a hip replacement and that he would try to do it as quickly as possible. Within a few days I was offered a date three weeks later. During our consultation Mr Gibbs gave me all the information I needed clearly and gently. He is an excellent communicator giving time, using language that is clear and easily absorbed. His caring manner is exemplary and he is a credit to his profession. I am so glad that I was fortunate to choose him as my surgeon. Three weeks later I am walking with minimal pain and beginning to live my life again much to my family’s relief. Thank you so much.
