Mr Fairley was wonderful, he operated on our daughter to put grommets into her ears when she was 5 years old and we continued to see him for the next couple of years to monitor her progress. He is always very kind and explains everything in a way that both our daughter and ourselves could understand. He always has time for you and our daughter always felt at ease. I would definately recommend Mr Fairley. Mrs Fairley is also extremely helpful.

I consulted James Fairley for what turned out to be a valuable second opinion, in that it has set me on a different course of treatment that is so far proving to be very effective. I found Mr Fairley kindly and approachable, and I felt strongly that my input as the patient was of real value to the consultation. In addition, he was careful and thorough in his examination of me, and of my CT scans, yet he managed to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short time. Copies of his helpful and detailed clinic report arrived with me, and with my GP, the following day - with quite remarkable efficiency.

I have seen Mr Fairley 3 to 4 times (both private and NHS) with ear problems he was very positive and I always felt very confident in what he was doing. He listened to what I had to say. He explained everything he was doing in terms that were easy to understand and tried to help me as much as possible. He was approachable, helpful and concerned. I felt that if I had received this kind of response much earlier, I would have felt much better about it and less stressed. He is as I would expect a specialist to be - knowledgeable, helpful, and concerned.
