Our family hold Mr James Fairley in the highest regard. He has operated on two of my very young children. He explained everything that was happening which put our minds completely at ease. Aftercare was 5 star and his secretary helped me so much when I had so many questions, very quick email response. Highly recommend Mr and Mrs Fairley

Mr Fairley is a good listener & explainer and my consultation was not rushed or hurried. You get a sense that he is personally a perfectionist and he will take the time to make sure everything is correct before proceeding. My treatment was extremely effective and has made my life considerably more comfortable and enjoyable. Also praise for his nursing assistant who is always there to help when required. The only way my treatment could of been improved would of been to know Mr Fairley's Christian name on the initial correspondence. This would of allowed the medical insurance people to find him on their database more easily.

We were referred to Mr Fairley by our very well respected GP. Our little girl had suffered all her short life with viruses, ear infections etc. We were seen almost immediately from the date of referral and by the time we arrived home from the consultation I had an email with an appointment! within 3 weeks an operation was performed. Mr Fairley was wonderful with my 3.5 year old. The whole team at the Spencer wing were absolutely amazing from the nurses to anaesthetist to recovery team. My daughter was so undisturbed and comfortable with the whole experience due to mr Fairley and his teams practises that she even thanked them all and said she had had a nice day! her dinner was nice! But she was ready to go home now! The results were instant. My queries around travel and swimming post op were answered by Mrs Fairley immediately and a follow up appointment and reminder was sent out. The care we continued to receive at her follow up appointment was outstanding, and my daughter is now very relaxed about hospitals, operations etc and I have to thank Mr Fairley and his team for creating this fearless approach for my little girl as we all know bad experiences can stay with us. I have found the whole experience to be efficient and relaxed. The time taken and given is the key. We need further consultations and without any doubt will return to Mr Fairley and his team.

Having suffered with a bad cough, blocked ears and nose for almost a year, and having seen a number of doctors as well as another specialist, I was referred to see Mr Fairley just before Christmas. He prescribed me a course of medication, which in common with other medication I had been on, had an immediate impact, but the difference was that this time the symptoms have not as yet returned (fingers crossed!). At my follow up consultation yesterday, I think that even Mr Fairley was surprised at how effective the treatment had been and I am now fully clear. If there can ever be so given the circumstances that one ever has to see a doctor, this was a great experience, form the efficiency of the administration, to the final treatment - and a convivial chat on the train back from London after my initial consultation! Highly recommended.
