I saw this individual after having had an MRI at the Willam Harvey Hospital.
It took months to get in to see him, and when i did he was more interested in how I made scrambled eggs. He said I would probably benefit from the steroid injection rather than an operation.
I was told to phone his surgery to see if i had been short listed, which I had.
A month later was telephoned by his practice and asked if I still wanted the injection so I said yes, a month later was phoned again and told asked if Cashas' assistant could give the injection, I again said yes.
In October 2017 I was in such pain I could not walk, so after numerous phone calls spoke to a receptionist, and after telling her I was unable to walk at all, was told to "get your practice to write a letter, to arrange "urgent" treatment"! What she didn't understand in my saying that I was unable to walk, i still don't know!
Two days later, still unable to walk without crutches, I went to the William Harvey Hospital, was admitted, had another MRI, and while on the ward it was found my bladder would not empty.
I was taken to Kings College Hospital where I underwent an emergency Laminectomy, the surgeon there broke the bone saw on my spine, as he said, "your bones are as hard as Ivory, and I broke the saw on your back!"
So now I can't walk properly, have no feeling below my knees, have drop foot in my right foot.
When I had recovered sufficiently, and started walking with crutches, Casha's surgery phoned me as they had received a letter from the New Dover Road Surgery in Canterbury a month after undergoing surgery!
I would NOT recommend this individual, or his surgery, rather get hold of the Kings College Hospital!
I’ve met this guy 3 times every occasion late 1hr plus no apology no nothing. He gives me no confidence as a consultant.
Pawns you onto a different person when he cannot be bothered to sort of himself!
Mr Casha is a fantastic orthopaedic surgeon. Very helpful and explaining what procedure and treatment in needed from start to end. For me, I went to see him privately for a initial diagnosis. He agreed to put me on his NHS list and carried out my decompression and disectomy within 4 weeks.
Highly recommended.
Prior to my operation I was in extreme pain, unable to walk unaided. Sleep was also impossible. Mr Casha carried out a spinal decompression. Directly after this operation l was pain free and able to resume my normal life. Mr Casha is a expert in his field and a very very nice and caring man.
Thankyou.

I had three bulging discs, one of which was pressing against my sciatic nerve. I had injections at a private hospital, these did not cure the problem. At one stage I was on so much medication that my medicine cabinet resembled a pharmacy. Mr Casha diagnosed what the problem was and I was given spinal injections. Six weeks in I am able to have a life back again and act normally. I had some muscle wastage but I'm working with a physiotherapist to get things moving again. I was treated with dignity and respect. Thank you Mr Casha.
