After many visits to A&E with my sons limp, within 5 minutes of seeing Mr Bourne he had diagnosed him. He arrange for our son to have an MRI scan which confirmed the diagnoses. Max was given the relevant treatment and had made massive improvements within a week of his visit. So very glad of our appointment with Mr Bourne!!!

Response from Mr James Bourne

Thanks for taking the time to feedback, and for your kind comments. I'm glad he's on the mend now. Diagnoses do become more obvious with time. It wasn't just me, but a whole bunch of people made his treatment and recovery possible, a few of these were: the phlebotomy team in the paediatric clinic, Matt the anaesthetic consultant, Simon the consultant radiologist, both Tony M and Tony H consultant Orthopaedic colleagues for advice and looking after Max, as the on call consultant, the microbiology consultant who provided advice on what meds, the paediatric team (nurses and docs), the junior Orthopaedic docs for the day to day care and communication. I look forward to seeing him in a few weeks when all should be resolved. Best wishes J
