I recently underwent a complex colectomy and ileostomy surgery at WGH to correct some longstanding issues. My surgery was done by Mr. Arbuckle and his team and I wanted to pay a heartfelt tribute to them all for everything they have done to get me through the surgery and back on my feet. Mr. Arbuckle is a very fine surgeon and has a great manner when explaining the technicalities of the surgical plan. I felt involved at each stage, and knew what was coming, which helped to deal with the whole situation in a better way. At each stage, from admission to procedure through to post-op after-care, I've been looked after by Mr. Arbuckle and his team and the nurses in both ICU and Flaunden Ward who have done a marvellous job. They will always have my sincere appreciation and thanks for the work they do.
