I can’t thank Mr Arbuckle enough for the care I have received from him. Nothing is too much trouble - Mr Arbuckle takes time in clinic to listen to you without touching his computer which is very important. I really feel like I am being listened too. Thank you doesn’t seem enough. I am truly grateful to receive such good care.

I have had numerous follow-up consultations with Mr Arbuckle, with respect to Lower Rectal Cancer for which I was treated with radiotherapy as well as four sessions of chemotherapy. In my initial consultation he explained, in detail, what the options were, depending on the outcome of the treatment The scans which I had, as part of the cancer diagnosis, discovered serious heart conditions which resulted eventually in bypass surgery as well as a valve replacement. At every following consultation, he displayed genuine concern and interest in my recovery and rehabilitation and his courteous demeanor inspires confidence. Just a few weeks ago I had a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy procedure, conducted by Mr Arbuckle himself.It was painless and he talked through what he was doing and seeing, throughout. It was very successful and the results extremely positive and encouraging I found Dr Arbuckle to be the consummate professional and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring his expertise.

Mr Arbuckle performed a complex anterior resection and subsequent ileostomy closure on me over the last few months and I now feel fully recovered thanks to his remarkable skills. He has a calm demeanor and is able to inspire confidence in his patients.The support team at Watford General were excellent for the few days I was in Flaunden ward. I recently underwent a complex colectomy and ileostomy surgery at WGH to correct some longstanding issues. My surgery was done by Mr. Arbuckle and his team and I wanted to pay a heartfelt tribute to them all for everything they have done to get me through the surgery and back on my feet. Mr. Arbuckle is a very fine surgeon and has a great manner when explaining the technicalities of the surgical plan. I felt involved at each stage, and knew what was coming, which helped to deal with the whole situation in a better way. At each stage, from admission to procedure through to post-op after-care, I've been looked after by Mr. Arbuckle and his team and the nurses in both ICU and Flaunden Ward who have done a marvellous job. They will always have my sincere appreciation and thanks for the work they do.
