I was recommended to see Mr James Young by my physio after finding out I had ruptured the ACL in my right knee from playing football. I am so pleased that I had the recommendation as Mr Young was excellent. I was extremely nervous as this was the first operation (hopefully the last) I have ever had undertaken. James reassured me at all times from the moment I met with him to the operation and afterwards. My knee is so much better, I have no pain anymore and every day get stronger. My scar is very small and I am now very pleased I had it undertaken. KIMS were superb in my care and also ongoing physio.

I would whole heartedly recommend Mr James Young for his kindness, professionalism and amazing talent. He talked me through all aspects of my treatment, both clearly and thoroughly answering all my questions. The surgery on my knee has changed my life from heading towards a wheelchair, to being able to walk unaided and with ease. I would also recommend having the Robotic procedure as the knee is precisely positioned in line making the healing process better and in many cases quicker. Kims hospital did an excellent job and I would like to thank all the staff including the physical therapy department,for making my stay pain and stress free, especially mentioning James (I don’t know his surname) my anaesthetist who kept me entertained during my surgery. May I say a big thank you to Tess for all her help both before and after my hospital stay. I feel like a new woman now!
