Mr J S Chawla is an excellent consultant ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgeon. He put me completely at ease, explained every step and listened to me when I had worries and queries. His team were lovely, very supportive and happy to answer queries in between appointments.

I had a cyst removed from my lower eyelid by Mr Chawla, two weeks ago. I can honestly say that the care receive from the initial consultation, the procedure itself, to the aftercare check up was brilliant. Each step was clearly explained and it couldn’t have gone better. Would certainly recommend Mr Chawla and his team, and the care from Spire Hartwood.

Explanation of the cataract removal was explained in detail. Mr Chawla and his theatre nurse Jenny were very caring in all the dealings I had and providing the eye drops regime. I doubt whether the treatment could be any better.

I had lens replacement both eyes and what outstanding care and treatment I received from Mr Chawla and his team. He explained everything in detail and has a lovely caring nature putting myself and other patients at ease. My eyesight has been great.
