Specialising in skin lesions, cancer, melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma, Meirion has built an unparalleled career in diagnosing and treating skin lesions including moles, the precursors to melanoma, at all stages of the disease. He has many publications to his name, was previous Professor in Surgical Oncology at Imperial College, and the former lead surgeon of the unit he founded at the Royal Marsden Hospital specialising in the treatment of skin and soft tissue cancers. Meirion Thomas retired from the NHS in 2015 and is now based at the Lister Hospital on Chelsea Bridge Road, as well as the Chelsea Outpatients Centre at 280 Kings Road.
