Before my operation, Dr Delikonstantinou (Dr. D) clearly explained what was going to happen and made sure I understood the risks. In theatre the conversation was appropriately business-like yet humorous putting me at ease. Dr. D told me what was happening at each stage of the process and regularly checked how I was feeling. When the procedure was complete, he explained how to look after my wounds and what would happen next. I had no doubts about Dr. D's expertise and felt in safe hands.
