Mr Polyzois is an Orthopaedic surgeon, he does NHS and private patients. I have been a patient of Mr Polyzois for approx. 7 years, I had 2 operations by Mr Polyzois, one was for a benign lump on my right shoulder and the second operation was to have a decompression on my left shoulder, which unfortunately still left me with pain, which had no fault what so ever to Mr Polyzois, my shoulder unfortunately needed more intrusive surgery, which led to a full shoulder replacement. Mr Polyzois carried out an excellent and successful operation. I am now recovering very well, due to Mr Polyzois. He is an excellent surgeon and I would always highly recommend Mr Polyzois as an excellent and very caring surgeon.

As a pianist & piano teacher having a nasty fracture of my humerus was very alarming. However Mr Polyzois listened to my concerns and gave me good advice ( to have surgery) in order to ensure the best possible outcome. I felt he kept my needs in mind when doing the surgery and I now have a very good solid repair to my humerus and am back playing the piano! Because of the pandemic I have only seen & communicated with Mr Polyzois whilst he and I wore masks but he still managed to convey kindness and understanding which was appreciated and helped the whole process feel less clinical. I would definitely recommend Mr Poyzois for his excellent surgical skills but also for his personal communication skills.

Early in the year I broke the humerus in my right arm. It was a horrendous experience. I had never broken a bone before and the pain was excruciating. Following the operation, carried out by Mr Polyzois, I was astonished that the terrible pain had gone completely. In addition, my anxiety about having to live with a horrible scar was completely unfounded. The scar is hardly noticeable.

Mr Polyzois has performed procedures on left and right shoulders for me, both with positive outcomes. In consultation, he listens and provides clear and unambiguous guidance on all options available to the patient, both surgical and non-surgical. Any questions I had were answered fully and patiently. I am very happy with the care provided to me by Mr Polyzois and would not hesitate to recommend him as an accomplished clinician and surgeon
