Hi I’m a 26 year old with severe bowel adhesions, I have been under his care for over 4 years now. Every time I have seen him he has been brilliant, really listens to you when you explain the symptoms. I have just had a laparoscopy procedure done to remove the adhesions and try and sort out any issues that my bowel has digesting food. The pre-care and care during has been nothing but brilliant at Preston hospital with the team and Dr himself. Can’t thank him and his team enough for their help and care.

He gave me the impression that he was confident and knew his profession. He put me at ease, gave me all the facts and helped me decide on the treatment. I opted for robotic surgery for bowel cancer. Recovery was loads better than traditional surgery. Don't let the thought of a robot operating deter you. The surgeon has full control. I've got minimal scarring, good recovery and was only in hospital 3 days!

Mr Peristerakis takes an infinite amount of care over me as his patient. He took every possible scenario into consideration before proceeding with major surgery to remove an advanced cancer, with complete success, as I can testify more than two years later. He continues to monitor my health after surgery, giving me complete confidence in him.
