I was operated by Mr Henry Maxwell for my plantar fibroma. Amazing results! I know it's apparently an easy op. Nevertheless, I am an active person and it was very important for me to go back to action. My foot is like new! Great job and even nurse who took my stiches off couldn't stop admiring his job! Thank you from the bottom of my heart

After speaking to a couple of doctors and a consultant about my condition I wasn't happy with how the situation was dealt with so I sought a second opinion. I was then offered a consultation with Mr Maxwell who is a specialist in his field. Meeting Mr Maxwell I was put at ease right away as soon as he saw my legs he knew exactly what was wrong he listened to the whole story and gave great and knowledgeable advice and put me at ease about the whole thing. He advised on surgery for both legs and informed me it would be himself doing the surgery and explained everything in detail to me and started the procedures for getting me into hospital a.s.a.p for the first operation after that everything moved along smoothly. Once in his care at the Oaklands Hospital the surgery and the aftercare was great. Mr Maxwells whole team really looked after me and after being released the whole aftercare and linked procedures once again moved smoothly and once in a position he was happy with I was booked in for my second operation same level of care and great team support I had a slight issue after surgery with a bleed and I called the Oaklands they gave great advise again and got me in to see they a.s.a.p I am now recovering from op number 2 and the difference Mr Maxwell has made to my life is amazing I now have two completely restructured straight legs and am able to walk I cant thank the team and MR MAXWELL enough thank you very much guys I appreciate all you have done and a big thank you to MR HENRY MAXWELL for all his hard work..

I have been privileged to work with Mr Henry Maxwell for many years. I am continually impressed by his vast knowledge and clinical expertise in the management of lower limb orthopaedic conditions, including foot and ankle surgery and tendinopathy management. I have been a patient of Mr Maxwells for a number of years and have found him to be a very caring and professional physician. He listens whilst you discuss your condition and concerns and then explains in detail what he can do to achieve the best outcome. He is a remarkable surgeon who I trust implicitly and I am very grateful to him for the work he has done in the past and more recently for my total knee replacement. I have also been fortunate to be treated by his colleague Louise Brown, a wonderful physiotherapist with an extremely caring nature. She has used her top quality expertise to help me through my TKR post operative recovery. I am so thankful I have had the opportunity to have both Mr Maxwell and Louise take care of me through this period. I must also mention the staff at Oaklands, they are professional, friendly and caring. I have been both a private & NHS patient and I would definitely recommend this hospital.
