I am still going through the steps of investigations, removal of the cancer in my breast and lymph glands surgically . From my first consultation I felt very comfortable with his personality, kindness and ability to listen to your questions. I never feel rushed to finish my consultation. He has a very nice team of breast care nurses, whom you can phone directly if necessary. Having worked in the medical profession myself for many years till my retirement, I can reassure anyone you couldn’t be in better hands than Mr Thomas.

I cannot praise Dr Thomas enough. Being diagnosed with cancer is terrifying but Dr Thomas was just amazing. So calm, empathic and genuinely seemed to care. He was there every step of the way explaining what was going to happen. He is a phenomenal surgeon and came round to visit after surgery and explained it all. His knowledge and experience is second to none. Every appointment we attended he was there with that reassuring smile. I would go to Dr Thomas again if I ever needed to without thinking twice. Dr Thomas the breast nurses and Spire Wellesley are just amazing. Would 100% recommend.

I feel I can whole heartedly recommend Dr Thomas. He gave me 2 operations and gave me options and talked through the procedure at each stage of my treatment. He was understanding and I felt confident in his ability to treat me successfully. Due to his expertise I had minimal scarring after each operation and consideration was given with my after operation appearance which was excellent. Thank Dr Thomas for saving my life.

I can’t put into words the care and experience I had at Southend breast unit, right from the time of my mammogram to my biopsy and then operation has been the most marvellous experience because of the help and support I was given. Obviously I was shocked and upset when I found I had breast cancer, but the reassurance, time and care all the way through has been amazing - thank you so much, Mr.Thomas.
