Dr Abboui and all his team gave great care and effective results. I am please with all aspects of the treatment and communication. The waiting time to see him in the first place was too long.

I asked my GP to refer me to Charing Cross Hospital after reading about innovative work being done by Imperial College Health Care Trust in the treatment of prostate problems. On my first visit I had several tests and was seen by Mr. Abboudi who conducted a physical examination. I found him to be reassuring and compassionate and he showed considerable empathy in explaining the options available to me. It would be fair to say that I was very worried that day when I attended hospital but after seeing Mr Abboudi I had a clear understanding of the way forward. On the day of surgery I was again seen by Mr Abboudi who was reassurance personified and the subsequent care I have received has been outstanding. I cannot thank him and his team enough for the outcome which will produce life changing results for me.

I am writing to share a recent experience with my father. Mr Abboudi has a wonderful communication style and left us feeling very reassured before, during and after the surgery. He talked through different options and was very clear about the risks benefits, leaving my father feeling fully informed about the choices. On the day of surgery he took plenty of time to reiterate the previous discussions and check my fathers understanding of what would happen, listening carefully to elicit any further questions and concerns. I am thankful that the surgery went very smoothly and the progress in the days since have been exactly as described which has been reassuring. My father is delighted with the early outcome. I would highly recommend Mr Abboudi as a caring and expert surgeon.

Put me totally at ease and said he’ll look after me during surgery and didn’t disappoint me he’s done a tremendous surgery on me and I had no reactions at all. I’m I’m sure he looks after all his patients the same way

Mr Abboudi is a consultant urological surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
As well as general urology his sub-specialist interests includes management of patients with kidney stone disease and disorders of the prostate and bladder.
Mr Abboudi utilises minimally invasive technology such as laser treatments of bladder cancers and kidney stones and water vapour therapy for enlargement of the prostate.
Prior to becoming a consultant urologist, he undertook extensive training in Endourology and Stone Surgery at the Institute of Urology at University College London Hospital. He was awarded a prestigious British Association of Urology Travelling Fellowship which allowed him to undertake focussed training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in the United States of America and to Global Rainbow Hospital in Agra, India.
He is very keen on academic activities and regularly teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has been awarded 15 prizes at both national and international level for his research and academic activities. He has published over 30 scientific papers which he has presented in various international meetings.
Beyond offering clinical excellence and surgical expertise Mr Abboudi and his team focus on providing bespoke individualised care to all with the patient at the centre of the decision-making process.
