We owe everything to this man. My daughter was born with spinabifda Myelomeningocele in the cervical region He operated on her at 1 day old to give her the best chance in life. He truly is one of the best if not the best if you ever have this man as your consultant/surgeon you are extremely lucky and we feel blessed he’s our daughters. Him and his team are incredible they treat Ellarae like a person not a patient and since she’s been born all she’s ever known is hospitals but when she sees mr Solanki and his team she has the biggest smile on her face. You can tell he has a real interest in Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus. He doesn’t give false hope or the bad stories he says it how it is and explains the good aswell as the bad. Every other doctor had written Ellarae off and didn’t believe she would make it past birth but mr Solanki gave her that chance of life and she’s moving more than we ever imagined. We feel so blessed that me Solanki is Ellaraes surgeon and forever we will be in debt to this man no thank yous will ever be enough. He truly is the best and a credit to BCH Thank you mr Solanki Honestly couldn’t recommend enough.

Mr Solanki recently saved my 14yr old son's life, after another hospital failed to diagnose a brain abscess he was transferred to Birmingham children's hospital and was under Mr Solanki who diagnosed him. He was in surgery within 8hrs of being diagnosed. My son is now making a remarkable recovery and it's all thanks to Mr Solanki and the staff at ward 10 at Birmingham children's hospital. I owe everything to Mr Solanki and his team for keeping my son alive.
