Mr Greg Rudol

Many thanks to Mr Rudol. After suffering for over three years with sciatica and shooting debilitating pains down both legs often stopping me from walking I knew that I had to get help if I was going to continue with my active lifestyle. Although in my late seventies my life was on hold until this pain was sorted out. Mr Rudol went through every option available and discussed the various outcomes of certain treatments. He listen to me as I explained how my life was not giving me the freedom of doing many active pursuits. We discussed surgery which made me very anxious but I knew that something drastic had to be done. The full procedure which was to take over 4 hours was discussed several times making sure that I and my wife fully understood the implications and possible negative results. Mr Rudol even made time to see us once more before the surgery to go through everything again with us. The care and attention he gave us was excellent both before and after the surgery. When we went back to see him just three weeks after the procedure we were all very pleased with my progress and the successful outcome. Only being in my mid 20's the thought of having to have a back operation terrified me. After physio and steroid injections didn't work, the only remaining option was surgery. Greg told me the facts and answered all my questions (as best and honestly as he could). Despite the 5hr back operation, Greg completely resolved the issue and has given me my life back. I can now return to sport and every day activities without being in agony. I can't thank Greg enough for all he did for me - I will forever be in his debt. Back operations are serious but not mobility ending like you first fear. Rest assured you're in extremely safe hands with Greg.

After the operation I had instant relief down my leg after months of sciatic pain. Had my Lumbar Fusion on the 11 March 2020, a very difficult time for the Hospital, but I had the best of care. I am glad I had the operation as I am pleased with the result as I am now out of pain and can move more easily. Mr Rudol explained the procedure beforehand all the advantages and disadvantages so I was prepared for all eventualities. I would like to thank the staff and Mr Rudol for giving me my life back

I had severe back pain and excruciating sciatic pain shooting down my leg which came on in early November 2020, my local GP prescribed various medication such as Tramadol, and Gabapentin, diagnosing me with a suspected slipped disc without a scan. Thankfully I was able to take advantage of our Private Medical Insurance and was over the moon to meet with Greg Rudol, who listened to my issues, and explained the possibilities and outcomes clearly, he arranged a scan and was able to carry out a phone consultation with my results in the week between Christmas and New Year which confirmed a prolapse disc and trapped nerve on the 1st sacrel, and was able to offer me a cortisone injection to help control the pain. I was extremely grateful for this suggestion as I was very limited with my mobility, unable to bend, stretch or lift items without being in absolute agony, and in addition I could not find a comfortable sleeping position so was barely sleeping. I am over the moon to report following my procedure, I no longer have sciatic pain, and I am no longer on any medication, I am sleeping normally pain free, and have now got back to walking daily. I feel like it was a miracle that has improved not only my physical pain, but my mental health too, I would not hesitate to contact Mr Greg Rudol again should any issue with my back arise again in the future, I would also recommend him to anyone with back issues.
