In 2009 I was operated on for colon cancer by Mr Prichard. I found him to be open, honest and professional in all my meetings with him. My operation was complicated with my needing a hysterectomy and having deep arterial bleeding which meant a 2 hour planned op lasted much longer. Mr Prichard was excellent in his manner of explanation. He had informed me before the operation that I might require an ileostomy bag and that this would not be known until the operation was underway. I was therefore prepared of the possibility. A year later he was present for the reversal (2010). Since finishing chemotherapy (SCOT Trial 3mths) I have been in the best of health. I have the highest praise for Mr Prichard and his team and thank him from the bottom of my heart for saving my life. Also for the honest and direct communication given in such a calm and reassuring manner. It is a strange feeling when you are aware that your life is in someone elses hands. It is very calming when you have looked into that persons eyes and you trust them with your life thank you
