I broke my tibia and fibula which was a complication break as my fibula twisted. From the moment I was admitted Mr Chuter took control and stuck to his decision which was right for me not to have surgery. Mr Chuter even put my full leg cast on. Nine months later I am fully recovered. He is a credit to the NHS.

I was a fearful patient who put off having foot surgery for over a decade,but Dr Chuter has a manner that made me feel at ease. He was patient and considerate of my many questions and in the end, did a great job. He really listened to my views on how to proceed so I felt I had a measure of control and ownership and subsequently, this made me feel more confident about the procedures. He was fair in warning me about any potential problems I could encounter, and his light hearted humour did much to put me at ease. Did a great job of my surgery too!
