2 years on from my breast augmentation and I am absolutely disgusted with the results. A friend also has the same result as me. Our scars are absolutely horrendous. Over 7cm long and an absolute mess, Allwin offered correction surgery but we do not want him going near our bodies ever again! DO NOT GO TO DR ALLWIN GNANAJWBANI!!

Upon first impressions, Dr Allwin came across as very humble man. I had a deviated septum and also breathing problems through my left nostril. I had wanted my nose corrected for a long time. We agreed that he would perform rhinoseptoplasty, but that he could not guarantee that he could get my nose 100% straight. I went into the contract under the impression that if my nose wasn't as straight as I wanted it, I could have corrective surgery. With full trust, I had the surgery and was very disappointed with my results. My nose is still deviated and not as straight as I would have liked, and my nostrils are completely uneven. The tip of my nose is horrendous and I much preferred it before the surgery. My nose is straighter, but I haven't had many improvements with the breathing and the tip of my nose is completely messed up as well as my nostrils. When I had the post- op appointment, I told Dr Allwin I wasn't happy with my nose and he got the contract out in front of me and told me that we agreed he couldn't get it 100% straight. I was very disappointed with his reaction. He should have at least showed concern. I said to him that showing me that is like setting me up for failure. After this, he proceeded to 'show concern', although I didn't feel as though he was exactly showing concern at all since he should have done this before showing me the contract. I paid him that money if I am not happy with my nose I expect him to do his job as a surgeon and correct it. From my own observations, it was as though he was trying to make it very difficult for me to have corrective surgery. I do not believe that Dr Allwin is practising in good faith. The moment he showed me the contract I completely lost trust in him. I was very disappointed with my nose and reported him to the manager. The chaperone that was present with us denied any recollection that he had shown me the contract. I requested a meeting with the both of them but was refused seeing as I said I didn't want corrective surgery with that doctor. I do not recommend Dr Allwin at all, or the Harley Medical Group.

I had open rhinoplasty two years ago with Mr Alwin, I can honestly say that I am not happy with the results. I had a deviated septum, and a long nose. I was so excited to get a new small button nose , as I thought to much disappointment. Once the cast came off it looked quite good, but still not small enough. Only a couple of weeks down the line , my nose shape changed, with the tip pinting downwards, and it just looked big as it did before. Admittedly it was straight, but awful side on. A year after I went to see Mr Alwin and told him I was not happy. He basically told me that was as good as it gets, and that it was still swollen. Its worse now than a year ago. I called to say I wasnt happy but im still awaiting to see Mr Alwin again. Although I wont be letting him do my revision as having done a lot more research on revision work, it makes me feel nothing but angry with myself that I never did enough research at the beginning. Looking back Mr Alwin never did any photo imaging or even offer to show me any of his work. He sat behind his desk and asked me what I wanted. Giving me his own strong opinion and not really listening to mine. I hope to get something back from this as I have to find another 5000 to achieve the results I long for. I think he may be good at basic nose surgery , but if you need anything a little more complex , then look elswhere. !

I was 23 when I had my rhinoplasty with Dr Allwin at Highgate. He is amazing and such a humble lovely man. The first woman I had my consultation with said I would need open rhinoplasty, my nose broken, the tip moved and all sorts! When I saw Dr Allwin, he listened to what I wanted and explained in detail different options that would suit my face (for example, he said he would lift the tip but not change it as it wouldn't look in proportion with my face and look too fake!) He explained he could do exactly what I wanted, however advised on areas he didnt think it would necessarily be the right option for me. He tailored everything to suit my face and was honest and transparent through the whole process. He adopted a personal approach to my surgery with sensitivity and care and I'm over the moon with the results. A year later and my nose looks so natural and it was the best thing I've ever done!! I could not recommend him or the nurses at highgate enough!!!
