Allwin Gnanajebamani should be avoided at all costs! I was assigned him as my rhinoplasty surgeon back in 2018 by The Harley Medical Group (who are equally as awful!!). Worst mistake of my life. I had surgery to correct - A deviation to my left A dorsal hump Bulbous tip All of which Allwin agreed with and said could be easily fixed with a rhinoplasty. I always believed I would need a septo-rhinoplasty as my septum is deviated by Allwin denied this fact and said my nose purely "appeared" deviated as the large tip was off centre, and once the tip was smaller and central my nose would be straight, Needless to say, following surgery my nose is just as wonky as before, because it's my septum that's deviated as has since been confirmed by numerous other surgeons that Allwin Gnanajebamani had no idea what he was talking about! Not only that, ALL of my other defects are still present too PLUS additional defects due to poor surgery! Including visible "dents" due to poorly places stiches and a hanging columella! He's made my nose worse than before surgery. He was dismissive and rude the 2 times I saw him post surgery (and was always running at least an hour if not more late) before he went AWOL from them THMG. I even saw a letter he wrote to another surgeon at THMG telling that surgeon to just tell me my nose was "fine" and it was "a good result" basically just trying to get rid of me - which obviously the other surgeon did not say as it is not the truth! A horrible person who then tries to get other people to lie and cover up his shoddy work! It took years for me to be able to get the finance to afford this surgery and I have gone through 2.5 years of pain, stress and severe distress just to be left far worse than I began. This man has no place performed surgery on anyone! I also believe he did not even have the correct insurance in place at the time to be performing surgery either! I cannot afford corrective surgery and now I have to live with this poor excuse for a surgeon has done to me.

He was a lovely dr but lied to me from the start. He promised me a smaller nose, very thin from the from and straight from the side, its been a year and half since my operation and he left without telling me. I was promised a revision from him and Harley medical group in Leeds clinic and all they keep doing now is fobbing me off. The Leeds Clinic manager Katie promised to stay in touch and hasn't. I have serve depression and this has now got a lot worse me because all I think about is how bad my nose looks now. I wish I never got it done. I spent £5,000 for an operation that made me look worse. Awful place do not go to them they keep falling into administration every two years.

Do not have any surgery with this Doctor. I had a rhinoplasty with this Dr to reduce the tip of my nose. It is two years on a my nose is still swollen and the left side has almost collapsed and I struggle to breathe out of the left side. For two years he told me it’s fine the swelling will go down and it will be symmetrical and not once said there was an issue, he offered steroid injections eventually which were so painful, from that moment I said I would not see him again. I have had two second opinions and been told I had a deviated Septem before this which he completely missed. The clinic now wants to offer recon surgery, he never has admitted anything and now no longer works for the Clinic... wonder why.... trying to make a claim but is very difficult as of what they make you sign. Do not go with him he does not listen to you or care and his work is terrible and ruins lives.

I had an open rhinoplasty in September 2018. Dr Allwin was very honest and blunt during consultation, but I liked that. I felt like he managed my expectations and didn’t promise me a dainty little nose, but a nose that would suit my face. Before surgery he came by and spoke in detail to me & my husband about what he would do. He went over notes and answered all my questions. I am extremely happy with the results. Just coming up to 3 months and swelling has gone down and my nose suits my face. There were times during the first two months that I had a little wobble and didn’t like my nose. It looked big and felt hard so I didn’t believe it was swelling and worried how it would look. However, it was only swelling/healing process, and at roughly 8-9 weeks post op, I woke up one day and it looked so different! Absolutely thrilled with result. Best thing I’ve ever done. Remember when you read reviews that people only ever write the negative. I happened to stumble across this site whilst looking for Dr Allwin to recommend to a friend, and thought I should post. Although had no intention of doing so beforehand despite the amazing results.
