Having seen numerous other Dr's, none of which said they could help me or knew what was wrong with me, I saw Mr Kelly. He listened to me, he was friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I had tests within that first appointment and came away with not only a diagnosis, but also a treatment plan. It was such a relief!

Dr Kelly listened carefully to everything I had to say and explained all his answers/opinions clearly. He was very reassuring and motivating in pushing me on towards living a normal life again. He has since been very kindly and promptly answering my follow-up questions via email providing further information and support. I would recommend him to anyone seeking private ENT care.

Mr Kelly is a really compassionate and kind doctor who listens carefully to the full story and takes care over diagnosis. I feel that he is absolutely trustworthy and diligent. When I wasn’t able to get timely care in the NHS I arranged to see him and was reassured by his thorough examination and plan going forward. I’d recommend him to anyone who needs to see an ENT doctor.

I turned to Mr Kelly in desperation after going back and forth with my local NHS consultants for 4 years with no answers. He immediately knew what was wrong with me and since then I’ve received nothing but excellent care.

Gerard Kelly is a Consultant ENT surgeon in Leeds, he specialises in otology, neuro-otology and sinus surgery and treats both adults and children. He works in Leeds General Infirmary in NHS practice. He qualified in 1990 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1994. He trained in Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and Manchester. He became a consultant ENT and skull base surgeon in 2001, in Leeds.
In private practice her works in the Spire Hospital, Leeds and The Leeds Nuffield Hospital. He sees only private patients in the private sector (whereas some consultants see both NHS and private patients in private hospitals). He is a member of the council of the British Society of Otology (BSO, part of ENTUK) and runs the BSO balance course.
He has an MD (Docorate of Medicine) and an MEd (Masters of Education degree) as well as his primary medical degree.
