Mr Kelly was attentive to my history - an unusual one in the context of long Covid problems; he was thorough in his examination and was able to reassure me on the basis of that and subsequent investigations that my symptoms were not based in any serious ENT pathology - for which I am obviously grateful. He was very easy to communicate with both at the time the consultation and afterwards, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Referred by my GP as a private patient to Mr Kelly due to ongoing balance problems and an imminent trip to New Zealand. Mr Kelly immediately put me at ease, talking in a calm reassuring manner and took his time listening to how I felt. He performed some tests and diagnosed vestibular neuritis, advising to stop taking vestibular medication to encourage my balance system to work properly, and a list of vestibular rehabilitation exercises to work through. He explained by doing the exercises my symptoms would settle, although sometimes the symptoms may recur. He is very knowledgeable in his field and explained everything in clear layman's terms giving his assurance that I could go on holiday which was such a relief. Very attentive and professional and I felt to be in very good hands. I'm continuing the rehab exercises and was improving a lot but saw Mr Kelly again due to worsening of symptoms and headaches. He arranged an MR scan but results would indicate symptoms more due to vestibular migraine. Treatment strategy arranged. Mr Kelly is always available for any queries and would highly recommend him.

Doctor Gerard Kelly, is an engaging and empathetic individual who took the necessary time to understand the problems I was having with a dysfunctional eustachian tube. He recognised that although not life threatening, treating my condition could help improve my quality of life. Doctor Kelly clearly explained what my options where taking the time to listen and to answer my questions. It is clear that Gerard is motivated to help people and enjoys his practice. I would also reinforce that his nursing team enjoyed working with him and spoke about his kindness and generous nature.

I saw Mr Kelly for my BPPV - he was very positive and I felt totally confident in his care. He did the Epley Manoeuvre on me and, although not very pleasant at the time and for a couple of days afterwards, it has done the trick and the dizziness has gone (which had started nearly four months before). I would certainly go back and see Mr Kelly again, if the BPPV returns - and cannot recommend him more highly.
