This surgeon was truly a great surgeon. I basically placed my life in his hands and I can say he was the best choice. He keeps you calm if you need to be and he was calm, cool and collective with his approach and explained everything to me in detail. He also checks on you after surgery. He is extremely experienced in his field and I would recommend him highly. I can't recommend him enough as he is one of the best surgeons in his field. Marni

I had wonderful care from Dr Vasilikostas at St George's in Tooting. He removed a gastric band for me and although he was unable to give me a gastric bypass because I do not meet the criteria, he was so sympathetic and kind. Great guy.

Dr Vasilikostas is one of the few consultants who actually listen to what you are saying and is not patronising. He performed a complicated giant hernia repair on me and did a wonderful job. Very pleasant manner, I can not recommend him highly enough. I was terribly ill before he did the surgery and now I am much healthier.
