Saw Mr Spink following MRI showing prolapsed L4/5 disc. Mr Spink fully explained the options and I chose surgery as the most likely long term solution to my problem.
Fully informed on the day of surgery as to all processes and options available to me.
There was a delay from the previous patient in theater but Mr Spink kept me informed and up to date regularly. I saw Mr Spink immediately post surgery and he informed me in his opinion surgery was a success. I had some immediate movement improvement in pre-surgery symptoms and had feelings back in my foot which I did not have pre-surgery.
8 weeks post surgery I'm now able to do things I've not done for many years. I can even touch my toes!!
I found Mr Spink to be very honest and informative of the options available at all times. He has a good bedside manner and a great sense of humour. Hopefully I'll never see him again in a professional setting ;)
