Whilst we have no concerns about this Dr, his secretary is really difficult to get hold of and really not helpful in arranging follow up procedures. Having had a confirmation from her 3w ago that my sons surgery is booked for this Friday. We have had no communication from the hospital re the admission process, what time we need to be there etc. Her response to this was call the hospital. When I called the hospital, the admissions team had not received a booking from her so they don’t have my son booked. Again, we are unable to get hold of this secretary. We are now unsure whether or not my 1 year old will have surgery this Friday or not…this has resulted in us finding another consultant. As the secretary was unhelpful and disorganised, it made me lose faith and confidence continuing with the doctor.

I was treated in a most amazing fashion. I was listened to as I explained my problem. I was investigated quickly and offered appropriate treatments, then given time to decide how I wanted to be treated. A truly patient focused experience.

Be careful if you have good health insurance, he is keen to cut without looking at other options. Inadequate tests/ investigation was conducted. His office comes across as disorganised, and his secretary does not assist you, or give you the necessary paperwork. I received a phone call from the hospital asking me where I was, I didn't know I was required to be there two days before the surgery for tests. It is important that there is clear communication, and that you are aware when you are required. The whole process was disorganised and I felt ill prepared. The next day I saw his letter to my GP, that stated I could have antibiotics or the surgery. I was not made aware of this at the time, I was told I needed surgery. No discussion about the antibiotics I ended up cancelling my surgery and getting a second opinion. The problem was solved with one dose of antibiotics.
