I cannot speak too highly of Mr Robertson. In dealing with my recent hernia operation Mr Robertson was attentive, professional and reassuring. He was able to answer all my queries and concerns at every stage of the process and put my mind at rest. The actual operation went smoothly and I was very pleased with the immediate aftercare service and follow up appointments Mr Roberson put in place.

I was referred by the NHS to Mr Robertson at Nuffield Leicester with gallstones. I would like to say that the complete experience was absolutely everything that a perfect hospital treatment should be. For every visit I was seen earlier than my appointment time never waiting more than a few minutes. Mr Robertson (I feel as if I should call him Gavin) listened attentively to what I had to say and explained clearly the treatment and possible consequences. It's now 4 weeks since my gall bladder was removed and there is barely a mark visible to show where he has operated. Once more I would take this opportunity to say thank you Gavin. You set the bar for others to aspire to! John Hobbs

Mr Gavin Robertson was a doctor we first met in the latter half of 2016 when he performed a successful hernia operation on my husband. On meeting him for the first time his calm, caring and reassuring manner put us at ease straight away. So when l became very poorly he was our first choice. We trusted in his ability to put his patients welfare as a priority. I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone who may need his expertise in the future.

I would highly recommend Mr ROBERTSON. Following a problem with an infected and inflamed gallbladder, the process for removal was made simple, straightforward and quick by Mr ROBERTSON. He listened to me explain my condition, he was understanding and talked through the options and the risks. On the day of surgery, he was calm and reassuring and during the followup/discharge meeting, he was very happy to answer questions and talked through what had happened and what I should expect. Despite the size of my gallbladder, the scars are very neat. Highly professional, polite and trustworthy.

I had two hernias that required surgery. Mr Robertson articulated the issue and procedure in plain english and made me feel part of the decision process. I also thought they way he took time to talk to me during the morning before the operation was calming and put me at ease. Many Thanks.
